Rare Character Limited Release 2026 Batch 2 Straight Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

Please Read: It has come to our attention that the Bourbon label shows “2025” in the top right-hand corner, while the Rye and Kentucky Straight Whiskey both correctly show “2026”. This was a labelling mistake made at the bottling plant; it does not indicate that the wrong product was bottled or that this is last year’s Batch 2 release.

Rare Character Limited Release range “RCLR” is the most ambitious launch from Rare Character to date. Each batch is built from a marriage of some of the finest barrels encountered through the rickhouses of America, combining complementary flavour profiles for greater complexity, depth and balance than any one barrel could achieve on its own. On average, these whiskies are a marriage of 8–15-year-old whiskey.

This is the second RCLR release for 2026. Rare Character plans to release three to four batches per year, with Australia expected to receive two to three batches annually. Each batch will be different. Each labels artwork is specifically designed by Pablo Moix, wife, each batch has a different piece of artwork.

RCLR Straight Bourbon Whiskey 2026 Batch 2 is a marriage of carefully
selected barrels chosen to create greater depth, complexity and balance than any single cask could offer on its own. Sweetness sits at the core, with spice and oak providing structure, making this a compelling release for both Rare Character followers and broader American whiskey drinkers.

Tasting note:

Nose of baking spice, molasses, sultanas, orange marmalade and oak.

The palate brings brown sugar, a touch of mint, gentle oak and black pepper.

The finish leans into apple pie crumble, cinnamon and lingering baking spice.
