Mac-Talla Oloroso Islay Single Malt Whisky 2024 Limited Edition (700ml)

For the Mac-Talla Oloroso 2024 Limited Edition Scotch Whisky release the team at Morrison have created a small-batch bottling from 10 ex-Oloroso sherry butts (7 1st fill, 3 2nd fill). The casks were sourced from renowned Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin in Jerez, and were made from 100% European Oak. The powerful peaty malt played for 7 years with the rich fruity sherry notes remaining in the cask. The result is something truly special!

Warm spice, rich dark fruits & a big dollop of peat; a quintessential Islay Whisky. Brown sugar and baking spices reminiscent of Christmas with a peat fire burning in the background.

From one of Scotland's oldest Whisky families; previous owners of Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch; the Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. Mac-Talla means 'Echo' in Scottish Gaelic and reflects the Morrison family connection to the island of Islay perfectly.  Few families know peated whisky, or indeed the Scotch industry better!
