Joseph Colin Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien 2024 (750ml)

Joseph Colin initially trained at Domaine Marc Colin, working alongside his brother, Pierre-Yves, to make the family wines. In 2016, Joseph decided to create his own Domaine, and, subsequently, inherited just over six hectares of vineyards from his family holding, representing about nineteen different appellations, to start his exciting new venture.

Joseph works the vines and buys the fruit. He started in 2019 and had to bring the vines back from near dead. 22 hl/ha in 2024, his best yield thus far. Palish lemon and lime. A discreet nose but suggesting class to follow. Quite a lot of oak is showing at the moment, tension, good grip some length. 90-93 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.

It can be paired with roast poultry, rich oysters, crayfish, scallops and white fish. You can drink it now with a 30-minute decant before serving or cellar it up until 2028+
