Duplessis own a precious 0.30 hectares in Le Clos 1% of the Grand Cru. Situated in the middle of the Cru, South Exposition. 55 year old vines. Duplessis ferments in the same manner as the 1er Crus but of course due to the terroir offers a richer, more dense style of Chablis.

"The 2022 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a bright and lively bouquet, quite effervescent with candied orange peel, lemon zest, crushed stone and linden flowers. A lot of energy here. The palate is very well balanced with a touch of wild honey on the entry. This seems to have cohered a little more since last year, lightly spiced with a touch of white pepper on the aftertaste. Wonderful." -

"Glowing translucent pale green. The bouquet has impressive intensity, with the faintest dusting of coconut. This is from barrel. A very concentration intense white apple fruit, with more wood behind. This is still too young to give a real sense of where it will get to, but clearly there is fine potential. Drink from 2030. Tasted Jul 2023." -
