Different mashbills were aged in both toasted American oak barrels and Barbados rum casks. The toasted oak brings notes of dark chocolate, cherry and caramel, while the rum casks bring notes of tropical fruit and nuttiness. The complimentary balance created through the blending of bourbons finished in these casks creates an elegant blend matched only by its complexity.
