Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Batch 2 (700ml)

• The Wood: Batch 2 matured in a combination of American oak (bourbon) and Oloroso sherry casks.
• The Tweak: Compared to Batch 1, Batch 2 features a higher proportion of first-fill bourbon casks and fewer refill bourbon casks, while keeping the Oloroso sherry ratio the same

Nose: Waves of sweet wood smoke, tart crème fraîche, fresh fennel, celeriac, soot, and roasted tea leaves. Adding water brings out a fresh seaspray salinity, eucalyptus oil, and pine

Palate: Balanced and mature. It features an elegant, viscous mouthfeel with intense but soft peat smoke, coastal brine, tropical fruits (like pineapple and apricot), aniseed, and leather.

Finish: Medium to long, turning dry with lingering ash, vanilla, coastal salt, and a touch of dark chocolate
