In 2016, Joseph decided to create his own Domaine, and, subsequently, inherited just over six hectares of vineyards from his family holding, representing about nineteen different appellations, to start his exciting new venture. “Vide Bourse” is from a 0.13-ha vineyard located right below Bâtard-Montrachet. The bouquet reflects the weight to come, this is rather gorgeous and holds its long white shape with some riper notes too from the fruit. I am slightly more in love with En Cailleret today but this has much to recommend it.
