Simon (of SSW) selected this Campbeltown from a lineup of interesting casks, but was most impressed with the balance of the whisky, and the intriguing flavour profile.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe distillate came from 'a famous distillery in Campbeltown' (make of that what you will) and spent close to 8.5 years in a refill American Oak barrel before transferring to a 1st fill ex-Muscat French Oak cask for a long 18 month finish.
